Abstract
The relevance of the research topic is substantiated and a brief review of previously developed methods for assessing the influence of the parameters of urban transport networks on the characteristics of traffic flows is given. The patterns of changes in the speed of traffic flows in cities obtained as a result of research are given. The developed mathematical models of changes in the speed of traffic flows depending on the density of the transport network of the city and the level of transport demand are presented.
