Abstract
The existing technologies for diagnosing gasoline internal combustion engines are analyzed. Traditional methods are very laborious, and depending on the malfunction, the diagnosis process takes from several hours to several days. It has been established that the use of methods based on modern information technologies allows to reduce the amount of time spent and the complexity of performing diagnostic work. Diagnostic methods using analyzer programs are as accurate as traditional ones, however, they have the advantage of being significantly less time-consuming. Studies have shown that when using such methods, the labor intensity of the process is reduced by 2.5-3 times.
