THE TERM “CONFLICT” IN THE ROAD SAFETY SYSTEM

Abstract
The term “conflict” is defined as social interaction in the form of competitive struggle on the roadway in a problematic road traffic situation between road users. The phases of the emergence and development of the conflict are established. The conflict section on the road begins from the point of emergence of the problematic situation to the conflict point at which the accident occurs. On the road section between these points, there is a competitive struggle between road users for simultaneous presence on the same section of the roadway. On the same section, an incident occurs between the conflict participants, and then the conflict escalates. In the conflict area there is an interpersonal conflict between road users as subjects. It is proposed to enshrine the concept of conflict in the legal field in relation to the road safety system.
