A SOCIALLY-ORIENTED APPROACH TO SELECTING PRIORITY MEASURES FOR ORGANIZING PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Abstract
This article develops a formalized methodological framework for assessing the feasibility of introducing dedicated lanes for public transport (PRT) to ensure the sustainable development of transportation systems in megacities and agglomerations. A new, more universal, and objective socially-oriented criterion – the minimum passenger flow – is proposed and scientifically substantiated. An empirical formula for calculating it is proposed, taking into account specific road conditions on street sections.
