INTROVERSIVE AND EXTRAVERSIVE METHODS OF AESTHETIC EDUCATION IN BELARUSIAN FOLK PEDAGOGY: THEORETICAL BASIS FOR DEFINITION

Abstract
The article is devoted to studying of the theoretical foundations and definition of introversive and extra-versive methods of aesthetic education in Belarusian folk pedagogy. The author examines means and methods of Belarusian folk pedagogy, that have been traditionally used in aesthetic education. The article presents the author’s classification of introversive and extraversive methods of aesthetic education in Belarusian folk pedagogy guided by the internal or external spiritual or material world. A combination of methods is employed through the family, local community, educators and peer-education process. It is noted that introversive methods pursue the purpose of linking a person to the world of beauty by developing the ability to see, feel, perceive, understand, eva-luate and aesthetically experience the phenomenon of beauty (absence thereof). A specific feature of the extra-versive methods resides in their focus on the formation of skills meant to help recognize and maintain the beauty of communication, work, creativity and nature.
