Abstract
The article discusses worship and rituals in Confucianism as the most important part of the religious life of the Chinese, residents of Southeast Asia, and supporters of the Kun Tzu teachings from other regions of the world. The issues of the origin and development of these phenomena are analyzed. Numerous examples show the diversity and importance of the system of rituals, rituals and pilgrimages in ancient and modern Confucianism. It is noted that the activities and heritage of Confucius and his students are significant material for studying the culture of China. The most visited religious sites stand out: first of all, Qufu is a city of three shrines of Confucianism. For hundreds of thousands of neo-Confucians, a reverent attitude to the object of worship serves as the fulfillment of the will of the ancestors. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of pilgrimage and ceremonies in Confucianism, to show the influence of historical, geographical, cultural factors on their formation. This work can be useful for solving urgent problems of interaction with representatives of Chinese civilization.
