MUSICAL CULTURE OF THE BELARUSIAN UNDERGROUND

Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the musical culture of the Belarusian underground. The author reveals the stages of formation and manifestation of native underground culture, gives his own version of the typology of these stages, defining them as "waves". Each “wave” is determined on the basis of the characteristics of worldview, value orientations and attitudes that are a priority for any particular stage of the musical culture of the Belarusian underground. In the article the basic value orientations of musicians underground are considered, the thesis of the national theme of scenes and images, an effort to understand the culture and history of Belarus are advanced through the understanding of ethnic origins and roots.
