Abstract

The issue of introducing testing aimed at functional assessment of movement in order to prevent injuries into the training process in rhythmic gymnastics is being considered. The article presents the main causes of injuries in rhythmic gymnastics. The general characteristics of FMS testing are given. The results of the study of the effectiveness of the use of correctional and functional training based on the results of FMS in rhythmic gymnastics for the purpose of injury prevention on the example of the national rhythmic gymnastics team of Shaanxi Province of the People's Republic of China are described.
