METHODOLOGICAL POTENTIAL OF DRAMA IN THE CONTEXT OF DIRECTED SOCIO-POLITICAL CONFLICT

Abstract
The purpose of the article is to explicate the theoretical and practical potential of drama in the context of a directed socio-political conflict. Tasks: a) to analyze the theoretical potential of drama as an algorithm for the development of conflict; b) to reveal the practical significance of drama as a means of individual and social consciousness substitution. Conclusions: the theoretical reconstruction of the strategy of involvement in the development of drama allows to identify its main stages, which simultaneously act as stages of a socio-political conflict; the playwright, using the structure of the drama and the strategy of involvement is able to destroy traditional values, erase national memory and bring new ideals, norms and beliefs into the mind of the viewer, thereby creating the ground for socio-political conflict. The article reveals the true purpose of drama as a tool for managing social processes instead of a distorted, metaphorical perception of drama as a banal entertainment.
