SOME PROBLEMS OF QUALITY ASSURANCE OF MASTER'S THESES

Abstract
The relevance of the article is determined by the need to improve the quality of professional training of graduates mastering educational programs of the II stage of higher education. A brief analysis of the practice of training masters in the context of history and modernity, including Belarus, is made. It is noted that only writing a high-quality master's thesis has always been an indispensable condition for obtaining a master's degree. Some factors, that motivate university graduates to further improve their professional training, are established. The criteria for assessing the quality of the dissertation are determined. The most typical mistakes made by undergraduates when preparing a master's thesis are systematized.
