TECHNICAL AND TACTICAL TRAINING HIGHLY SKILLED GRECO-ROMAN STYLE WRESTLERS

Abstract

In the article, based on a theoretical model of technical and tactical training of athletes, the structure of the training process for highly qualified Greco-Roman style wrestlers has been developed. The features of technical and tactical training of athletes at the stages of training conditioned, deliberate, deliberate-impromptu and impromptu motor actions have been established. Highly qualified athletes pay the main attention to improving tactical skills in choosing ways to resolve motor situations at the stage of learning deliberate impromptu motor actions, as well as increasing the level of motor potential necessary to perform the techniques used during fights with the required efficiency. Considerable attention is paid to improving the skills of reflexive management of an opponent’s activities. General and specific objectives of the training stages are identified, and means and methods for solving them are recommended. The developed structure for training highly qualified Greco-Roman wrestlers was tested in the process of many years of author's sports activities.
