Abstract

Based on the conducted theoretical and empirical analysis, the article presents a model of students' readiness of pedagogical specialties to practice the oriental health system of wushu taijiquan. The model of students' readiness to practice the Chinese health system of wushu taijiquan is presented in 4 main stages: motivational-orientational, healthadaptive, functional-transformative, reflexive-evaluative. The developed model of students' readiness to practice the Chinese traditional gymnastics wushu taijiquan is presented in the following components: target, content, process-activity and evaluative-resultative. The experimental model allows to increase the efficiency of the system of organizing physical education and health activities of students and, accordingly, the level of their psychophysical readiness for the upcoming professional activity.
