THE CREATIVE AND INNOVATIVE PARADIGM OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND THE ACMEOLOGICAL APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A STUDENT AS A SUBJECT OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Abstract
The article focuses on the essential characteristics of a creative and innovative paradigm of higher education. The anthropocentric principle of innovative changes is viewed as the main distinguishing features of the coming higher education. The new educational paradigm is also characterised by the principles of ‘teacherstudent self-development’, ‘teacher-student cooperative creativity’, ‘openness, integrity, self-organisation’. The article also considers the continuity of the creative and innovative educational paradigm and the modern concept of development of higher education. In this regard, special attention is paid to the acmeological approach to human development. This approach, due to its close ties with the mechanism of creative activity, is considered as a methodological basis of the use of the competency approach in assessing the quality of the prolonged maintenance of specialist training. Focusing on the intentional-dynamic ‘acme’ model, the article reveals a set of criteria and indicators of the formation of intellectual maturity of the person, which is recommended to be used when training future specialists, and in the course of their professional activity.
