FEATURES OF THE FORMATION OF CITIZENSHIP IN GIRLS AND BOYS STUDYING IN SENIOR CLASSES

Abstract
This study examined the relationship between the level of civic engagement, value orientations, and academic motivation in high school students. The development of civic qualities, value systems, and motivational factors in adoles-cence was analyzed. It was found that a high level of civic engagement is closely linked to stable value orientations and high motivational activity, although gender differences exist in their manifestation. The study's results allow us to identify pedagogical strategies for developing responsible citizenship by strengthening the connection between personal values and academic motivation in high school students.
