IN SUPPLYCHAINS OF THE ENTERPRISES OF THE PETROCHEMICAL COMPLEX

Abstract
In the article theoretical and methodological aspects of the management strategy of inventories at the enterprise are considered, the economic essence of the inventories is revealed and their varieties are revealed in the production and economic activity of the enterprise, the issues of rationing of inventories at an industrial enterprise are touched upon, various strategies of inventory management in an industrial enterprise are described in more detail and clarified criteria for choosing an effective management system. The results of the analysis of the inventory management system at one of industrial enterprises of the petrochemical complex of the Republic of Belarus conducted with the aim of revealing their level necessary to ensure the rhythmic functioning of the production process are presented, on the basis of this, economically sound strategic directions for ensuring the efficiency of management of inventories in the supply chains of this enterprise, as well as contributing to the reduction of logistics costs, increasing the production efficiency, ensuring the competitiveness of the enterprise in market of petrochemical products.
