IMPROVEMENT OF THE DEVELPOMENT STRATEGY OF THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

Abstract
The article presents an overview of the pharmaceutical industry of the Republic of Belarus, its features and emerging problems. The analysis of the main macroeconomic indicators is carried out, positive and negative trends in development are determined. The experience of the European Union in the development of the Pharmaceutical strategy, its main directions and measures provided for implementation are considered. Following the example of the European experience, it is proposed to improve the development strategy of the pharmaceutical industry in Belarus, which should involve closer integration into the healthcare strategy as a whole and provide for a balance between the economic and social tasks of the industry. The new strategy should be based not only on the resources and capabilities of the national market, but also correspond to modern realities, providing a flexible response to external factors, including taking into account the need to continue the fight against the pandemic.
