Abstract
The article deals with international organizations operating in the energy sector. On the basis of the international legal doctrine allows identification of international organizations in the field of energy. Given legal description of their legal status, including their organizational structure is considered and the constituent documents. Defined goals and objectives of their activities, and also highlights the extent of their influence on the development of sources of international law and national legislation. Special attention is drawn to the specialized international organizations in the field of energy. Considered a glossary of constituent documents and international instruments in the field of energy. The problems of identification of certain international organizations operating in the energy sector. Conclusions concerning the activities of international organizations in the field of energy. Defines the role of international organizations operating in the energy sector in the regulation of relations of power supply.
