Abstract

The article is a comparative analysis of theoretical and practical peculiarities of the Institute of digital inheritance. We prove the timeliness and scientific development of the topic in legal science. We have determined the significance of the topic for modern society. The concept of digital assets has been considered. The analysis of the current legislation in the sphere of digital inheritance has been carried out. The question of including provisions dealing with digital inheritance in US law was discussed. A comparative analysis of the provisions of the laws and legislation in various states regulating the particular legal status of the subjects and objects of the Institute of digital inheritance. On the basis of doctrinal and legal concepts used in defining digital inheritance. The analysis of the current legislation in the sphere of digital inheritance has been carried out.
