ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN NUCLEAR ACTIVITIES (EXPERIENCE OF CODIFICATION ON THE EXAMPLE OF FRANCE)

Abstract
The legislation on transparency and nuclear safetyis considered on the example of France, as well as legislation on protection of the environment. Main attention is paid to the systematization of legislation, procedures and traditions of rule-making. Algorithm of legislation and the conditions necessary for the implementation of the codification of rules aimed at regulating of relations in the sphere of transparency, nuclear safety and environmental protection is defined. The structure of the Code of the Environment is considered, the rules it contains are analyzed , the basic concepts contained in the Code are presented. Special attention is paid to the characterization of the principles of nuclear activities and the protection of the environment, which are located in the Code of the Environment. Conclusions regarding the structuring features of law governing nuclear activities and activities to protect the environment are made.
