ESTIMATION OF OPERATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF VARIOUS TYPES OF TRANSPORT IN LOGISTICAL SYSTEMS

Abstract
Definition of transport and its two subsystems of the general and not general using is made. The place of transport logistics in coordination maintenance between participants of transport process is revealed. The primary goals of transport logistics which concern maintenance of a technical and technological associativity of participants of transport process, the coordination of their economic interests, and also use of uniform systems of planning are accurately designated. The special place of the information on prominent features of various types of transport at a choice of this or that type of transport, optimum for concrete transportation is noted. Characteristics of principal views of the transport used in transport logistics are in more details given, and their operational indicators are in details described. The estimation of all types of transport as a part of logistical systems is given, advantages inherent in them and lacks depending on various conditions of transportation are revealed. Finally the basic indicators which are objects of steadfast attention at a choice of a type of transport, namely reliability of observance of the schedule of delivery, time of delivery and transportation cost are specified.
