Аннотация
Исследуется феномен цифровых активов. Демонстрируется обзор основополагающих научных трудов ведущих ученых, занимающихся проблематикой и идентификацией цифровых активов. Объясняется, в силу каких причин осложнено понимание проблемы. Анализируются современные доктринальные положения, а также законодательство США на предмет наличия и характера содержащихся в нём правовых норм, идентифицирующих категорию «цифровые активы». Проведен сравнительный анализ дефиниций «цифровые активы», содержащихся в законодательстве различных штатов. Рассмотрен вопрос о включении норм, посвященных цифровым активам, в систему законодательства США. На основе доктринальных и законодательных представлений сформулировано определение цифровых активов. Исследованы критерии классификации цифровых активов.
