PROSODIC FEATURES OF PREPARED PUBLIC SPEECH OF FRENCH, BYELORUSSIAN AND RUSSIAN USERS

Abstract
A brief observation of linguistic achievements in the field of phonostylistic speech variability is presented. The basic differences in stylistic variability of segmental unities used by scientists of different schools are marked. The necessity of comparative research in the field of prosodic variability that the natives from various linguistic areals have is confirmed. It is proved that they interference of native language prosodic features into the foreign language can be communicatively relevant and can be the reason for bad comprehension. The results of a comparative experiment realized at Polotsk State University are described. The public speech of French, Byelorussian and Russian users is analyzed. The similarities and differences in choice of syllabic structures, speed of articulation, pauses realizations (their frequency and duration), use of logical stress are found. The correspondence between the use of stylistic pauses and logical stresses with the lexical and grammatical type of words is analyzed. The conclusions about the similarities and differences which the public speech of French, Byelorussian and Russian users make are formulated.
