RESTORATION OF THE BENT SHAFT INSERTS

Abstract
The process of restoration of crankshaft inserts is considered. Recovery is carried out by chemical methods in several stages. Various variants of coatings are considered. The total thickness of the coatings is 25 μm, while the variant under consideration has a sub-layer 125 μm in thickness. The properties of coatings differ in the antifriction characteristics of tribocoupling. It is concluded that the studied coatings are heterogeneous and multicomponent; there are both decorative and run-in layers in them; the thicknesses of the layers have approximately the same values.
