INFLUENCE OF SURFACE PLASTIC DEFORMATION ON GEOMETRICAL PARAMETERS WHEN RESTORING THE CRANKSHAFT BEARING JOURNALS

Abstract
The article presents the influence of surface plastic deformation on the microprofile of a strengthened surface, its roughness and changes in the curve of the supporting surface. Justified coating microstructure obtained by welding low carbon alloy wire in shielding gases, which has a high tendency to strain hardening. The degree of plastic deformation and the dependence of the relative depth of the plastic deformation of the contact pressure run-in roller, thus recommend the best value roller pressing force. To harden journals of crankshafts developed special equipment, including two break-in. Their use allows to receive a demanded contact pressure at smaller efforts of pressing of the tool and to carry out processing in the conditions of limited axial movement and fatigue limit of shafts.
