MANIFESTATIONS OF NEUROTIC STATES IN PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF SUPERSTITION

Abstract
The article presents the results of an empirical study of the manifestations of neurotic states in people with different levels of superstition. A significant correlation was revealed between superstition and anxiety, neurotic depression, asthenia, hysterical type of reaction, obsessive-phobic and vegetative disorders. Significant differences between superstitious and non-superstitious persons in terms of neurotic states were also revealed. In superstitious people, the indicators of anxiety, neurotic depression, asthenia, hysterical type of reaction, obsessive-phobic and vegetative disorders reach higher values compared to non-superstitious people.
