Abstract

The article presents the experience of Polotsk State University named after Euphrosyne of Polotsk in developing students' softs kills skills in order to increase the competitiveness of graduates. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that modern education should be aimed not only at the formation of general and professional competencies, but also at the development of "flexible skills". For the first time, a comprehensive monitoring of the level of formation of soft skills of graduates of Polotsk State University is presented. The implementation of the main ways of forming softskills is presented: with the help of active teaching methods and the introduction of new specialized courses in educational programs.
