Abstract

The article in the introduction analyzes and summarizes the scientific and methodological literature on the precompetitive training of highly qualified athletes specializing in freestyle wrestling. In the main part of the article, depending on the results of the questionnaire survey of trainers, the structure, orientation and magnitude of the training loads of the shock microcycle of the pre-competition stage of training are given. The paper presents the results of a pedagogical experiment consisting of two stages with the participation of highly qualified athletes. According to the results of the conducted testing, the level of development of physical qualities (special endurance and speed) and technical readiness of highly qualified wrestlers of the formed experimental group was determined. A higher efficiency of the training process using a shock microcycle has been established and proven according to the structure developed by us and the proposed content of training loads. In conclusion, it is noted that at the pre-competitive stages of training highly qualified wrestlers for competitions, a shock microcycle with a developed structure, orientation and magnitude of training loads should be used.
