Abstract

On the basis of the analysis of a provision of the subject "Technology" in practice of work of comprehensive school, some regulating documents regulating educational process and also experience of the certain countries in the organization of professional education, the conclusion is drawn that it is necessary to determine its education status more precisely. It is offered to consider this subject matter as complex, synthesizing knowledge practically of all main objects of a school cycle and also as one of the main in case of the organization of professional orientation work among pupils.
