COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF INDIVIDUAL-PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF STUDENTS OF THE FIRST AND SECOND COURSES

Abstract
The article reveals the features of adolescence as one of the important periods of human life in which changes in motivational and value and meaningful spheres, the choice of professional activity, changing the social role. Joining the student social group changes the outlook of the individual, as the choice made expands the range of responsibilities orienting a person to the development of independence and responsible attitude to their actions. The results of students' personal characteristics research presented in the article reveal the peculiarities of students' adaptation to studying at a higher education institution and show the dominant qualitative characteristics contributing to the formation in the educational environment. It is emphasized that the personal psychological qualities formed in the process of learning are based on the individual life experience and values instilled in the family.
