REDUCING THE INFLUENCE OF COKE DUST ON WORKERS BY USING DUST-SUPPRESSING-ANTI-FREEZING MEANS

Abstract
This article presents the results of studies on the production of anti-freezing and adhesion agents based on products of secondary oil refining processes for dust suppression and reduction of losses from the blowing out of wet bulk carbon-containing materials, in particular petroleum coke, during their transportation at low temperatures. The use of the developed dust suppressing-antifreeze agent will reduce the dust exposure on the employees of the delayed coking unit during the production of fuel grade petroleum coke and improve its freeze resistance. This will have a positive impact on the solution of the problem of transportation of fuel grade petroleum coke produced by OJSC “Naftan” to OJSC “Belarusian Cement Plant” at subzero temperatures, and will also allow expanding the range of marketable products, increasing production efficiency and reducing expenditures on purchasing of imported antifreeze
