THE PROBLEM OF THE COMPONENTS’ STRUCTURE OF TRANSLATOR’S PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE

Abstract
The problem of translator’s professional competence is examined in the article. It has certain components. Analysis of the declared competence is certainly actual as characterizes the socio-professional status of translators. Besides, training standards in Belarus under the competence profile is given little attention. Aspect of interpersonal interaction with customers and colleagues, includes such requirements as the comprehension of the social role of the translator, including compliance with the requirements of the market, understanding the demand for services in the field of translation, the ability to find the approach to the customer, to negotiate with the client, update requirements, tasks and objectives of the client, the recipient of transfer, to plan and manage your own time, stress, tasks, continuous learning, identify and count the translation services.
It is notes that all the components of the translator’s professional competence are correlated with the main parties of his activity, which made it possible to the author to pick out the certain components of this competence.
